Big Mountain Creek is located 40km south of Grande Prairie, Alberta along Hwy 40. The recreation area is maintained by the Swan City Snowmobile Club . In the winter the area provides over 65km of trails for snowmobiles. In the summer these trails can be accessed by quads. The network of trails provides a range of challenges from easy quadding to almost impassible on a dry year. This is an excellent and popular location for quadding, camping, and for sleds.
Take loop A if you really want a challenge. Last year we went 5km in 7 hours!!
